Fall High School soccer registration is now open!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
*We encourage you to complete your registration by the early bird deadline of June 1, saving you $25! The final deadline for registration is June 30.

REGISTRATION FEE:
After much discussion, the Board decided to increase the high school soccer fee to $295. This new fee more accurately reflects the costs of running the program and allow us to break even. We are also doing a Spring fundraiser (Pasta Palooza on April 27) to help balance our budget. Please let us know if you have any questions. We are offering the option to pay in 2 installments. This option can be chosen during the registration process. You might also consider having your high school player pay some or all of their registration and/or uniform fee.

***If you have a Youth Initiative HS student, please select offline payment during checkout as the registration fee is paid directly by YIHS. Please register by May 1 in order to avoid paying the $25 late fee.

UNIFORMS:
Each player will order their own uniform on soccer.com. This uniform will be used for at least two years. You will notice that on the DUF registration page you will be asked for your four top choices for uniform numbers. We will do our best to honor your choice and that number will be on your uniform ordered from soccer.com. After DUF registration is complete look for an email from soccer.com with instructions on how to order your uniform. Cost is approx. $100. PLEASE ORDER UNIFORMS NO LATER THAN JUNE 30. This will ensure your player will to have a uniform by the 1st game. We are working with soccer.com to get samples for players to try on sizes and we will be in touch with you when we do.

ATHLETIC PERMIT:
*This needs to be on file before you practice. See the form (next heading) and make your appt. now, if needed.

FORMS:
*The Concussion and Athletic Permit documents will require you to print and sign, then either scan and upload OR mail to P.O. Box 12, Viroqua.  Go to the Forms and Info page to download.

2019 U5/6 – U14 League Soccer

 

Welcome to Driftless United Fall Soccer 2019! We are excited for another great season.

This season we are excited to offer a wide variety of teams for our Driftless Community!Early Bird Registration prices good thru July 1. All registration fees will increase by $15 after this date. Registration deadline is July 15.

 

Little Champions League:
Little Champions League is a great opportunity for our littlest soccer players to learn and grow right here at home.

Little Champions League U5/U6 (birth years 2014-2015)  Fee:  $30.  Players will focus on fun games that will help players grow and develop their love for soccer in a developmentally appropriate atmosphere.  The season will begin August 18 and will run for 6 weeks. Practice will be on Sundays from 1:30-2:15 pm @ Viroqua Church of Christ.  Register at https://driftlessunitedathletics.demosphere-secure.com/_registration

U8 Little Champions (birth years 2012-2013; beginners born in 2011 are welcome in this age group as well).  Fee:  $65.  Children will learn and grow through fun games and developmentally appropriate skills work. The season will begin the week of August 18. These teams will meet twice each week for 8 weeks. Practices will be Mondays/Thursdays 5:15-6:15 or Mondays/Fridays 5:15-6:15 pm at the Viroqua Church of Christ.  The first two weeks will be practice both days, the last 6 weeks they will have one practice day and one game day each week. U10-U14 Boys and Girls Teams
We will be offering Boys and Girls teams for the Fall season. Players will enjoy advancing their soccer skills through a variety of skill building activities, as well as learning more advanced concepts of competitive play and teamwork.
The Fall season will begin on August 18 and run for 9 weeks. Players will practice 2 times per week for 1 hour to 1.5 hours with our Tetra Brazil coach. Players will have 5-6 play dates this season and will travel to locations such as La Crosse, Prarie Du Chien, Tomah, or Sparta. Typically, teams will play 1-2 games per play date. Please Note: if you purchased a Driftless United uniform for the Fall 18 or Spring 19 season, you will NOT need to purchase a new uniform for this season.
ALSO:  PLEASE BE PREPARED TO UPLOAD A PICTURE OF YOUR PLAYER DURING REGISTRATION. THIS IS REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS SEASON.
Program fees and Practice Times:

U10 Boys and Girls (birth years 2010-2011) Fee:  $155.  Practices will be held at field beside the elementary school playground on Education Ave.  Practice Times:  BOYS M/Th 3:45-6 pm (practice will be for an hour, and team placement will determine which part of that time slot).  GIRLS M/W or M/Th for an hour between 3:45 and 6:45 pm, team placement will determine which time slot).  Please contact the administrator for questions or updates.

U12 Boys and Girls  (birth years 2008-2009) Fee:  $170.  Practices will be held at Washington Park field.  BOYS T/F 3:45-5 pm, GIRLS M/W 3:45-5 pm
U14 Boys and Girls (birth years 2006-2007 (or 2005 entering 8th grade).  Fee $170.  Practices will be held at Washington Park Field.  BOYS T/F 5:15-6:45 pm.  GIRLS M/W 5:15-6:45 pm.

All practice times and locations subject to change.  In the event that times or days change and student is no longer able to participate, full refund will be granted.

Volunteer requirement:

DUF is a volunteer organization. Our volunteer requirement helps our programs run successfully and keep our administrative costs down. We require families to work a minimum of 3 hours per participating child/athlete per season. Volunteer spots can be requested (although not all requests are guaranteed) or will be assigned. NOTE: If you are not able to volunteer your time there is a mandatory “Opt-Out” Fee of $60 per athlete.

New Communication Tool: Team Net (will be used this season instead of Team Snap for all team communications). Once teams are formed you will receive a notification via email and it will include a link for Team Net.

Scholarships:

There are a limited number of partial scholarships available for families in need. For more information, please contact the administrator @ driftlessunitedathletics@gmail.com.  The purpose of these scholarships is to increase access to soccer in this region and increase diversity on our teams.
